Parallel to our existing regional assignments and collaborations, Eindhoven247, together with Uit in Eindhoven and Eindhoven365, has submitted a project plan for cultural marketing to Regiodeal Brainport Eindhoven. The reason for this is the necessary extra impulse for regional cooperation in the field of a collective marketing leisure economy. This project, started on August 1 2019, runs until December 31 2023 and is housed in the joint organization Uit in Eindhoven Regio.
Uit in Eindhoven Regio establishes the desired connection between the regional municipalities and destination marketing organizations so that a structural cooperation arises that is in the interest of the resident and visitor of Brainport Eindhoven: together we show what there is to do in the region in terms of culture, leisure and sport.
One of the tools we are developing to bring this offer more widely to the attention is the online region platform RegioRadarEindhoven where the regional offer can be seen and experienced. Regional municipalities - with or without their own local website - make use of the Uit in Eindhoven Regio data platform. In this way, all participating municipalities have a (local) website that is essential for the communication to their own residents and visitors of the municipality and connects with their own content to the Regio Portal.
RegioRadarEindhoven: Regional Portal for Culture, Sports & Leisure
RegioRadarEindhoven brings together the highlights from the region and inspires residents and visitors to visit the region. Region-wide initiatives, routes and product-market combinations are also given a prominent place on the website. The portal is now nearing completion and will go live mid-November, which we will announce to stakeholders. If the content of several regional municipalities is connected in the coming months, the public launch will take place in the spring of 2022.
Key figures in the region form the heart of the Regional Editiorial Board, by introducing the local program of their regional municipalities and/or cultural organizations. To ensure the quality, we work with a core editorial team and a region-wide editorial board:
Core Editorial Board
From Eindhoven247, communications consultant Claudia Hermans and content manager Emmeke Fleuren take part in the editorial board. Furthermore, the core editors from Uit in Eindhoven consist of content manager Manon Willems, communications consultant Claire van der Elst and chief editor Lidy Lathouwers. They are all members of the editorial staff with years of expertise in the communication and promotion of the culture and leisure sector. The core editorial team assigns the content entered by the regional municipalities to the RegioPortal and thus guarantees an attractive and relevant programme on RegioRadarEindhoven.
Region-wide Editorial Board
This core editorial board initiates quarterly region-wide editorial meetings on location in the region. During these meetings, they map out what is going on in the region in the field of culture and leisure, and which themes require extra attention and/or a collective target group approach. They listen to wishes and gather input and ideas in order to strengthen the broader goal of cultural marketing.
