Event Support
Each year, various large-scale public events are organized in Eindhoven, each with its own character and audience. On behalf of organizations such as GLOW Eindhoven, Federatie Eindhovens Carnaval, and Stichting Koningsdag Eindhoven, we provide complete risk assessments, support throughout the permit application process, and execute the safety and management plans—always aiming for the optimal balance between atmosphere and safety.
Safety & Permits
During GLOW Eindhoven, we welcome over 750,000 visitors to the city center over the course of 8 days. The GLOW organization designs a route, and we assess whether it is feasible. We consider factors such as necessary road closures, emergency access routes, resident accessibility, and overall flow.
We then collaborate with the Municipality of Eindhoven and its partners to coordinate across all relevant disciplines: Are roadworks scheduled? Is PSV playing a home game? Are the proposed structures safe? Once everything is aligned, we begin implementation.
Crowd Management
During the execution of a large-scale event, the event organization expands rapidly. From a command post we set up, we coordinate security personnel, traffic controllers, first aid responders, and crowd management guides at various events. These guides assist the public in moving safely and hospitably from point A to point B.
With the help of crowd management cameras, we monitor visitor flows in real time. Together with the Out of Home Media department (SUOG), we use city beacons and LED screens at the main entry routes for crowd management purposes.
