Eindhoven247 is the assigned portal when it comes to city events. We are responsible for composing the event calendar en assisting event organisors with licence applications. The Municipality of Eindhoven handles the licence application.

For the upcoming calendar year, you can reserve a location in the public space of Eindhoven until the 30th of September. Due to the large amount of applications, some of the locations might be booked. By applying for a location in advance, you can claim your spot on the calendar. When your event is put on the calendar, it doesn’t automatically mean your licence is approved. You apply for a licence via ‘Eindhoven application events’. After October 1st, the calendar is submitted to the Municipality of Eindhoven. They will establish the event calendar before December 31st.

You can find the calendar here, but this calendar has no pr objectives. Visitors of the city of Eindhoven can take a look on the website thisiseindhoven.

Whether an event requires a licence depends on a number of factors such as the duration of the event, the number of visitors etc. Terms and conditions are listed here.

If you cannot meet these terms and conditions, you need to apply for a licence.

You do not need to apply for a licence or report a private event on private grounds. The event can take place if it meets the environmental license of your location.

If you put up a tent for over 150 people, you have to submit an occupancy notification firesafe usage at omgevingsloket@eindhoven.nl.

If you organise a street or neigbourhood party, it is sufficient to send a notification to the Municipality of Eindhoven will suffice. Terms and conditions are listed here.

If you cannot meet these terms and conditions, you need to apply for a licence.

Would you like to organise an event? The first step is to sign up your event for the event calendar. Eindhoven247 will check if the date and location is still available.

After that you can continue on with the licence application. If available, please check the location profile in advance.

The events policy is listed here

We don’t have a standard safety plan. Each activity/event is different and needs its own approach. The Municipality of Eindhoven does have a standard format. We can send it to you if you like.

Eindhoven247 can help you with the preparation of a safety plan. Our organisation has created safety plans for events such as PSV Championship, Park Hilaria and King’s Day. We are happy to send you an offer.

The notification period ends 4 weeks before the start of the event.

Category A event: the application deadline end 8 weeks before the start of the event
Category B event: the application deadline end 10 weeks before the start of the event
Category C event: the application deadline ends 12 weeks before the start of the event.
Each application cannot be handed in 26 weeks prior to the start of the event.

If the licence application has been handed over tot he Municipality of Eindhoven, Eindhoven247 is no longer involved in the application process. We don’t have any information about the application status. Your contact person will be listed on the confirmation form which you received after sending your application.

You will need a traffic plan for that. You can only close off a street when you have arranged a traffic detour for the regular traffic. The current traffic situation during your event can be assessed by the social service centre 'Depot Eindhoven’. Depot Eindhoven can also help you to put together a traffic plan. You can reach them by e-mail: info@depot-eindhoven.nl.

Eindhoven247 doesn’t rent out any materials. Depot Eindhoven puts a variety of materials up for rent for community organisations, cultural organisations and non-profit institutions. Tables, chairs, tents, crew catering materials; anything you need to organize an event or neighbourhood party.
For more information you can send an e-mail to info@depot-eindhoven.nl.

Releasing balloons seems to be very cheerful and festive. However it has adverse consequences for both human, animal and nature and does not match with the sustainable ambitions of Eindhoven. That is why releasing balloons is actively discouraged in our municipality. Fortunately there are sufficient alternatives. More information and the alternatives you can find here.
