Event support
Every year, several large-scale public events are organized in Eindhoven, each with its own character and audience. On behalf of organizations such as GLOW Eindhoven, Federatie Eindhovens Carnaval, and Stichting Koningsdag Eindhoven, we conduct a full risk analysis of each event, provide support throughout the permitting process, and implement the safety and management plan, always striving for the perfect balance between atmosphere and safety.
Safety & permits
During GLOW Eindhoven, we welcome more than 750,000 visitors to the city center over eight days each year. The GLOW organization designs the route, after which we assess its feasibility. We consider factors such as required road closures, emergency routes, accessibility for residents, and overall traffic flow. We then work closely with the Municipality of Eindhoven and its chain partners to coordinate across various disciplines: Are any roadworks planned? Is PSV playing at the stadium? Are the proposed structures safe? Once this process is complete, implementation can begin.
Crowd management
During the execution of a large-scale event, the organizing team grows significantly in a short period of time. From a command post set up by our team, we coordinate security personnel, traffic controllers, first aid responders, and crowd management guides during various events. The crowd management guides help visitors move safely and smoothly from point A to point B. We monitor crowd flows using specialized cameras, and together with the Out of Home Media Department (SUOG), we use city beacons and LED screens along access routes to support effective crowd management.
