Registering an event

Every year, Eindhoven offers a wide variety of events for both residents and visitors. The Event Desk is managed by Eindhoven247.Are you an event organizer? Here you’ll find everything you need to know about organizing an event in Eindhoven.

Every year, event organisers can register their event for the Events Reservation Calendar for the following year. Registration is open from July until 30 September.

The calendar gives us an overview of events planned across Eindhoven and throughout the year. This helps us coordinate events at an early stage and identify possible issues relating to busy periods, popular locations, parking and roadworks. If you already registered your event, you wil get a notification in January 2027 if your event has been allocated a place on the 2027 Events Reservation Calender.

The deadline for registering your event for the 2027 Events Reservation Calendar has passed (30 September 2026). The 2027 Events Reservation Calendar will be finalised by 31 December 2026. Once the calendar has been finalised, we can assess whether there is still an opportunity to add your event. This will be done in consultation with the municipality and its partners. We will contact you regarding this.

Register for the 2027 Events Reservation Calendar

Your event will be assessed in accordance with the event permit policy of the Municipality of Eindhoven.
The policy currently in force dates from 2017. The municipality is currently reviewing and updating this policy. Once the new policy has been formally adopted and published, your registration will be assessed according to the new rules. We expect the new policy to come into effect on 1 January 2027

Some event locations in Eindhoven have a location profile. These profiles contain specific information about the location, such as:
the maximum number of events allowed;
the maximum number of visitors; and
permitted noise levels.

If you are planning an event at a location with a location profile, your event will also be assessed against the requirements of that profile. You can find the location profiles here.

If more events are registered for a location than there are places available, the available places will be allocated according to the procedural rules.

Some locations in Eindhoven will be undergoing redevelopment or other works in 2027. This includes areas around Vestdijk. Please note that Fensterrein, the car park on Keizersgracht, will no longer be available as an event location from 1 January 2027. For 2027, the Municipality of Eindhoven has designated certain priority events. These events are given priority when places on the Events Reservation Calendar are allocated. Priority events are events that have a fixed place on the calendar because they are considered to have particular significance for the city.
